About two weeks ago there was a good deal on the Bourjois products in 'Kruidvat'. So I went ahead and bought two of their new color boost lip crayon's. I've been trying them out the last couple of days and I have to admit that I absolutely love them! They're very moisturizing, don't dry the lips out which some of the other crayon's tend to do. The color shows up very bright and vibrant on the lips (as the name suggest 'color boost) and looks like a glossy lipbalm when you first put it on. After around ten minutes the glossy part fades a bit, the lipstick settles in so it isn't very creamy like a lipbalm anymore but the lipstick still looks shiny and still feels very hydrating.
Ongeveer twee weken geleden was er in kruidvat een goeie deal op alle Bourjois producten. Natuurlijk kon ik het niet laten en heb ik twee color boost lip crayon's gekocht. Sindsdien heb ik ze wat uitgeprobeerd en ik moet toegeven, ze zijn fantastisch! Ze voelen erg hydraterend aan, drogen de lippen helemaal niet uit en bij het aanbrengen voelen ze aan als een lippen balsem. De kleur is erg sterk en 'fel', je moet dus geen duizenden laagjes leggen om een goed kleurenresultaat te hebben. Na ongeveer tien minuutjes gaat je lipstick zich gaan vestigen in de lippen, het lippenbalsem gedeelte verdwijnt dan en gaat eerder aanvoelen als een lipstick, maar dit wil niet zeggen dat het hydraterende en 'glossy' gedeelte verdwijnt.
The lip crayon's have an SPF of 15, so great to wear in the summer and protecting your lips and they do smell a little like sunscreen (which a totally don't mind!). They're also waterproof and 10 hours stay. The waterproof part could be right because I hold my hand with some swatches under water and they didn't budge, but the 10 hours part is probably a little overdone, after eating lunch I would definitely recommend re-applying the lipcolor because it does fade, even if you don't eat the color fades after around 3 hours. Ik heb de kleuren Red Sunrise en Peach on the Beach gekocht. De lip potloden hebben een spf 15, perfect dus om in de zomer te dragen en terwijl je lippen te beschermen, ze ruiken zelf een klein beetje naar zonnecrème (wat ik zeker niet erg vind). Ze zijn ook waterproof en 10uur blijvend. Dat waterproof gedeelte klopt, want ik heb mijn hand met staaltjes onder water gehouden en ze verroerden niet. De 10uur blijvend daarentegen klopt niet echt, na het eten zou ik de lipstick toch opnieuw aanbrengen, ook zelf zonder het eten begint de kleur na een 3 tal uur te vervagen. (zie foto's onderaan)
