July Favorites

Hey Guys!

It's almost August, so I decided to do a July favorites. I'm going to share all my loves from this past month. It can be anything: fashion, make-up, food, books. ... etc.
The first product I'm really loving is this fantastic eyelash curler from the body shop, it gives my eyes an open and awake look and my lashes that uumpff every girl wants.

The second product i've been wearing a lot this month is one of my favorite perfumes in the whole entire world, Miss Dior from Dior. It's a really special scent, with notes of Italian Mandarin Essence, Egyptian Jasmine Absolute, Indonesian Patchouli Essence. I love to wear it in the day as well as in the night, altough some people say it's an evening scent.

The third product is my beloved shampoo: Big from Lush, I did a full review 2 weeks ago on it, so if you want any information please check that out. But I can tell you one thing, I absolutely LOVE it.

My fourth product is actually a fashion idem. It's a cross body bag that I bought 2 months ago from Zara. When I was in Paris I used it ALL THE TIME. I didn't want to take a gigantic bag with me because we were going to walk a lot, so this little baby here was my saviour.

My fifth and last favorite is my trip to Paris, I had so much fun and shopped a lot.So I might do a haul and a fotoblog. So please let me know if you would like to read/see pictures and my clothing that i bought.

Youtube Guru's

Hey Guys!
A lot of my time, I'm watching make-up and fashion videos on youtube. They really inspire me and help me to create my own style. They've learned me to put my make-up on and to curl my hair with a straightener. Many girls and women are spending there time watching these videos. So I wanted to talk about my absolute favorite beauty and fashion guru's, of course my list is kind off unlimited but I will name the once I'm watching for a long time and still LOVE.
In no particular order:

  • FleurDeForce
  • missglamorazzi
  • meghanrosette
  • beautybaby44
  • meganheartsmakeup
  • akaydoll
  • pixi2woo
  • CheckInTheMirror
  • NikkiPhillippi

So if you haven't checked those girls out, please DO, and if you've never watched any beauty or fashion video on youtube, certainly DO! I'm sure they will help you in some way.

Coco Chanel inspired

Hey Guys!

I've seen a lot of Coco Chanel inspired vests in stores lately. I have to say, I quite like them. They look very sophisticated and grown up, but if you style them with the right items in your closet, they can look playful and young at the same time.

You can find the first two vests at Zara, they both are on sale right now on the online store (in Belgium), The bottom two are from Asos and they retail for 82,95 eur, which is a lot cheaper than the original Coco Chanel vests.

As you can see, they don't look exactly like the Coco Chanel ones, some have a girly twist (the ones in pink) and some have an edgy twist, like the gold jacquard vest. So whatever your style is, I bet you'll find one that's hundred percent your taste.

Studded denim jacket

Hey guys!

I saw this breathtaking jacket in Zara a week ago, and I have to admit, it was love at first sight!

It's a beautiful medium wash studded denim jacket, with studs on the shoulders in the front as well as in the back, but when I saw the price I was heartbroken. It retails for 99,90$ which is not very cheap, and because I'm going to PARIS in a week I decided to save my money. But it doesn't leave my mind for a second, so I might pick it up in France anyway ;).

I know it's probably not everybody's cup of tea but I'm totally fond of it. Would you wear this jacket or do you prefer the original denim jackets? How would you style it? Please let me know!

$ GOLD $

Hey Guys!
It seems that gold isn't only very popular with jewelry but also the fashion industry wants it!
Gold is the new black for this fall and winter.

"Designers envisioned a gilded fall, rich with sequins, paillettes, and glittered sheen." (ELLE.com).
A lot of well known designers used gold in there fall 2012 collection: Elie Saab, Michael Kors, Paco Rabanne etc. You see the eye catching color everywhere on the catwalk!
Are you going to rock this color the upcoming fall, or are you going to keep it safe with the everlasting black?

a 'BIG' review

Hey guys!
I want to tell you about an amazing product from Lush! It's a seasalt shampoo called Big.

The shampoo contains sea salt for volume, seaweed and coconut to give softness to the hair and fresh lemons and limes to give shine. For a lovely bright scent they added neroli, mandarin, orange flower absolute and vanilla.

" So what you get is hair that has lift and volume, but is still easy to get a comb through and smells great for hours.  A big achievement, we felt." (Lush)

Everytime I use this, my hair is so much softer and feels a lot lighter. The only thing some people don't like about it, is the fact the product tangles your hair more than other shampoos do. So I would highly recommend to use a conditioner afterwards. I use 'veganese', another Lush product. Personally I don't really mind it tangles my hair because I've always used a conditioner, but for people who don't, it can be an issue.

'Big' comes in a jar of 330g for 10.95£, but I do want to remind you that Lush is more pricey in Europe and The US.

PS: I just started my blog, so if you have any feedback please let me know! :)

Especially from Escada

Hey guys!
I just discovered an amazing perfume from Escada called Especially. One of my friends was wearing it the other day and the moment i smelt it i absolutely fell in LOVE! It is described as a delicious, luxurious and purely feminine scent. Designed for playful, spontaneous and glamorous women. The top notes are pear and ambrette seeds with a hint of musk.

The packaging is adorable too! It is described as a luxurious balance of contemporary with classical elements, The gold stopper with the logo makes the bottle look really chic and smart, the perfume itself has a deep pink color.

Supermodel Bar Rafaeli was chosen to embody this image. "I'm crazy about it. It’s not too sweet and its’ not too heavy. It is a truly feminine fragrance, modest yet elegant. It just smells delicious!” she says. (mixitup.nl)

Especially Escada will be available as Eau the parfum in bottles of 30, 50 and 75 ml and the additional 150 ml body lotion and 150 ml shower gel.The price of the perfume is between 38-70€, the showergel costs about 22€ and the body lotion about 25€.

PS: This is my first blogpost, so i would love it if you guys could give me some feedback! please let me know if you liked it.  :)
